Our pop-up store in Nagold marked a significant milestone: for the first time, we gained experience in brick-and-mortar retail and were able to present the Vaseboard® directly to customers.
The store was an opportunity for us to understand how the product is perceived in a real-world environment and which aspects are particularly important to customers.
First insights into retail
The transition from an online shop to a physical space brings new perspectives. Direct contact quickly reveals how products are perceived, explained, and understood.
We observed:
• how quickly the concept is understood
• what questions spontaneously arise
• which details particularly stand out
These impressions are not possible in an online context.
Direct customer feedback
Personal interaction was one of the most valuable aspects of the pop-up store. Conversations with visitors showed which aspects immediately convince and where further explanation is needed.
It became particularly clear:
The combination of a wall shelf and an integrated vase is perceived as unusual, yet very logical.
Material and effect in the room
Another important point was the perception of the materials. The oak wood, the craftsmanship, and the floating look can be experienced much more intensely on site than online.
The product often appears even more serene and high-quality in a room than in pictures.

Conclusion: A significant step
The pop-up store in Nagold was, above all, a learning phase for us. Our first experiences in retail provided valuable insights for the further development of the product, its presentation, and communication.
At the same time, it showed that the concept works and is understood in direct contact.
