OUR STORY
The idea for Vaseboard® originated in our own home.
After moving in, we were faced with empty walls and were looking for something that was more than just a shelf or pure decoration. Something that would truly transform the space and thoughtfully integrate plants.
Because that's exactly what was missing.
Plants bring vibrancy, but often seem like an add-on rather than an integral part of the design.
Philipp, a trained carpenter and architect, then began building the first prototypes in his grandfather's barn. With the goal of harmonizing material, proportion, and effect in the room.
From the beginning, it was clear: it shouldn't be a static product, but a living design object.
After many iterations and genuine feedback, including at initial trade fair appearances, Vaseboard® took on its current form.
A modular system that can be combined and further developed.
Made from solid oak wood in combination with precisely 3D-printed elements.

Description
Floating Oak Wall Shelf with Vase
The vaseboard® L is a 140 cm long, floating wall shelf made of naturally oiled, FSC-certified oak wood with two modular, removable vases. The circumferential bevel gives the long shelf a particularly light, delicate effect and makes it appear to float freely on the wall – ideal as a spacious, modern wall shelf for living rooms, hallways, or dining areas.
The two integrated, three-part vases are modular and can be used flexibly. Whether dried flowers, fresh branches, or minimalist arrangements – the long wall shelf with vases offers plenty of space for individual displays and subtly yet elegantly showcases your decorations. The well-thought-out system creates a harmonious connection between function and design that goes far beyond classic wall shelves.
Part of the Modular Vaseboard Series
The vaseboard® L is part of the modular Vaseboard® series and can be perfectly combined with the other sizes. For smaller walls or accents, the 30 cm floating wall shelf with vase (Vaseboard® S) is suitable, for medium formats the Vaseboard® M with one vase, and for large formats the naturally oiled vaseboard L. For those who prefer strong contrasts, the black oak wall shelf (Vaseboard® M – black oiled oak) and the Vaseboard® L in black oak offer a dark, architectural variation. This creates a modular wall shelf system that can be precisely adapted to your wall and your living style.
Sustainable Materials & Manufacturing
The vaseboard® L is manufactured in Southern Germany from solid, FSC-certified oak wood from regional forests and sustainable biopolymer based on corn starch. The surface is naturally oiled, highlighting the lively structure of the wood. The result is a durable design object for design-savvy interiors, combining naturalness, craftsmanship, and modern manufacturing.
Lighting & Locations
Optionally, the system can be supplemented with the Vaselight Rechargeable Light Set (3-piece LED light set). The small rechargeable lights illuminate the vases from below and atmospherically showcase the floating wall shelf in the evening – perfect for atmospheric light accents above a sideboard, sofa, or dining table.
With its clear, minimalist design language, the large, floating wall shelf is ideal for spacious living rooms, open kitchens, or long hallways – wherever you want to create a calm, modern wall design with plenty of space for decoration.

The vaseboard is invisibly mounted to the wall with two shelf supports. The vaseboards are designed and carefully assembled to make them very easy for anyone to install. The mounting kit, including instructions, dowels, screws, and the shelf supports, is included with every order.
Care instructions
The dishwasher-safe insert can be easily removed and conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher.
The vase itself can be washed with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild soap.

Can the vaseboards also be mounted on wood, plasterboard, or drywall?
Our Vaseboard wall shelves can also be mounted on wood and drywall walls. However, the included mounting materials, such as screws and dowels, are designed for solid walls. If your wall is made of a different material, you should definitely seek professional advice to find the right screws and dowels for secure installation. Feel free to contact us for advice.
What gives the vaseboards their floating, delicate appearance?
Our vaseboards impress with their floating appearance and timeless elegance. Crafted from ecologically certified solid oak (FSC), the 26 mm thick boards are beveled on all sides using state-of-the-art CNC technology – a so-called Swiss edge. This design gives the boards a delicate, floating appearance that blends seamlessly into any interior design style.

When properly installed, all of our vaseboards can easily support up to 10 kg. They offer ample space for decorations, books, or other items.

For mounting on a solid wall, we recommend using the included mounting materials. These consist of Fischer Duopower dowels (8×65) and Heco Topix Plus round-head screws (6×80). For mounting on wood, plasterboard, or drywall, we recommend purchasing suitable dowels and screws separately to ensure secure installation.

What makes our oils special is the lower grain compared to traditional oil, giving the surface a natural appearance. All oils are free of solvents and plasticizers. Despite their pleasant, delicate feel, the product offers good surface protection. These properties, along with the high proportion of renewable raw materials, make this water-based wood oil unique. Our black Vasaeboards are stained and then oiled for a perfectly matte finish.
