OUR STORY
The idea for Vaseboard® originated in our own home.
After moving in, we were faced with empty walls and were looking for something that was more than just a shelf or pure decoration. Something that truly transforms a room and consciously integrates plants.
Because that's exactly what was missing.
Plants bring vibrancy, but often seem like an add-on rather than an integral part of the design.
Philipp, a trained carpenter and architect, then began building the first prototypes in his grandpa's barn. His goal was to harmonize material, proportion, and effect in the room.
From the beginning, it was clear: it shouldn't be a static product, but a living design object.
After many iterations and genuine feedback, including at initial trade fair appearances, Vaseboard® took on its current form.

Description
The vaseboard® M is a 50 cm long, floating wall shelf made of natural oiled, FSC-certified oak wood with a modular, removable vase. The continuous bevel gives the shelf a particularly light, delicate effect and makes it appear to float freely on the wall. This transforms a simple wall shelf into a minimalist design object for modern, minimalist interior concepts.

The vaseboard® M is part of the modular Vaseboard® series and is also available as a floating wall shelf with vase in 30 cm (Vaseboard® S) and as a floating wall shelf with vase in 140 cm (Vaseboard® L). Additionally, the model is available as a black oak wall shelf (Vaseboard® M – black oiled oak).
Sustainable Materials & Manufacturing
The vaseboard® M is manufactured in Southern Germany from solid, FSC-certified oak wood from regional forests and sustainable biopolymer based on corn starch. The surface is naturally oiled and highlights the vibrant structure of the wood. This creates a durable design object that combines naturalness, craftsmanship, and modern manufacturing.
Lighting & Locations
Optionally, the system can be supplemented with the Vaselight rechargeable light set (set of 3 LED lights), which discreetly illuminates the vase from below.
With its clear design language, the floating wall shelf is ideal for living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, or kitchens – wherever stylish wall design and interior greenery meet.

The vaseboard is invisibly mounted to the wall with two shelf supports. The vaseboards are designed and carefully assembled to make them very easy for anyone to install. The mounting kit, including instructions, dowels, screws, and the shelf supports, is included with every order.
Care instructions
The dishwasher-safe insert can be easily removed and conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher.
The vase itself can be washed with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild soap.

Every vaseboard® is manufactured in Germany from carefully selected, solid oak and precisely processed using modern CNC technology.
The surface is finished by hand, so that the natural grain of the wood is shown to its best advantage and each wall shelf becomes unique. Through short distances and responsible production, the vaseboard® stands for high-quality design, longevity, and sustainable living culture.

What are the return conditions?
You can return your items to us free of charge within 30 days. Our goal is for every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, please let us know.
Can the vaseboards also be mounted on wood, plasterboard, or drywall?
Our Vaseboard wall shelves can also be mounted on wood and drywall walls. However, the included mounting materials, such as screws and dowels, are designed for solid walls. If your wall is made of a different material, you should definitely seek professional advice to find the right screws and dowels for secure installation. Feel free to contact us for advice.
What gives the vaseboards their floating, delicate appearance?
Our vaseboards impress with their floating appearance and timeless elegance. Crafted from ecologically certified solid oak (FSC), the 26 mm thick boards are beveled on all sides using state-of-the-art CNC technology – a so-called Swiss edge. This design gives the boards a delicate, floating appearance that blends seamlessly into any interior design style.
What is the maximum load capacity of the vaseboards?
When properly installed, all of our vaseboards can easily support up to 10 kg. They offer ample space for decorations, books, or other items.
How is the vaseboard attached to the wall?
For mounting on a solid wall, we recommend using the included mounting materials. These consist of Fischer Duopower dowels (8×65) and Heco Topix Plus round-head screws (6×80). For mounting on wood, plasterboard, or drywall, we recommend purchasing suitable dowels and screws separately to ensure secure installation.
Which oil is used for surface treatment?
What makes our oils special is the lower grain compared to traditional oil, giving the surface a natural appearance. All oils are free of solvents and plasticizers. Despite their pleasant, delicate feel, the product offers good surface protection. These properties, along with the high proportion of renewable raw materials, make this water-based wood oil unique. Our black Vasaeboards are stained and then oiled for a perfectly matte finish.
